The Idea

“Shades of Change” is our company’s mission to make the world a better place. With this vision, Desiar will choose a different charitable organization for every collection we create and donate a portion of every product sold to that chartable organization. Our “shades” are just not about sunglasses but our gradual influence to make the world a better place.

The hand placed wooden circles on every pair of Desiar sunglasses symbolizes our commitment to help create a better world. The circles represent the connection between people: a person willing to help and a person in need, the space in the middle represents Desiar’s link to connect these people. Shades of Change, it’s not just about sunglasses but actual change.

How we are changing

In 2011, Desiar Eyewear teamed up with Thirst Project and we decided to fully finance a building of a well in Ethiopia that will give clean water to at least 350 people. With every purchase of a pair of Desiar Eyewear, a percentage of that sale goes directly to accomplishing our mission.
